The bridge is mahogany, the nut I am not sure what the wood is but I salvaged it from a ship, it was used as a bearing for a large propeller shaft because of its natural oil and resistence to water. It is very hard to work with , dulls tools and clogs sandpapper, but it polishes well it looks like old bakelite plastic.
Hey Len the box is made of poplar and mahogany, 1/4'' thickness. The neck is hard maple, and the fret board is mahogany, and a single piezo transducer under the bridge.

What are the various woods that you have used and I am presuming that you have a piezo transducer under the bridge?
