Here is a side-by-side photo of my two traditional style "Reso-Box" instruments... a 4-string banjo on the left, and a 3-string diatonically fretted stick dulcimer on the right. The sound box size is close to 10" x 8" x 2" with a 6" wide Eu Long cookie tin lid as the resonator.
