That's right. No need for any lock nut. It is very easy to use and gives a surprisingly amount of pressure to the workpiece. It is also very gentle when it comes to toolmarks as well.
That looks superb Jon! A simple yet highly useful bit of kit. I take it that the sliding side of the clamp jaws, wedges itself in position on the slide-bar as soon as the cam is locked on a piece of work? There is no need for a lock-nut to tighten to keep it in place? Great work my friend.
