My First Build

Guitar #1: maple neck and body, poplar back, oak fretboard. Ukulele tuners, aluminum nut, nails for frets. Hand-wound magnetic pickup with volume control. Made in a hotel room from an article in Make magazine.

    Thanks all! It's not a through-neck unit, so tuning isn't that stable, but definitely playable. All the rest I have built are through-necks.
