This shot is a close-up of the soundbox. The bottom edge of the cookie tin proved too uncomfortable, so I added an arm rest. The soundboard is cut from a sheet of 2mm plywood veneer, and the bottom of the cookie-tin was mostly cut out (all but a rim to support the edges of the soundboard). It proved out to be quite loud, but without the real tinny sound of a pure cookie tin design. The wooden soundboard really mellows out the sound. I recommend this technique.
