The strap is actually a "fat" shoe lace I picked up at a night market in Kowloon, Hong Kong. Next time I'm through there, I'm going to buy a few more. They make a quick & easy and size appropriate guitar strap.
If you haven't made a dulcijo yet, I recommend making one it's a fun little instrument. Haven't learned to frail well yet, but if you play the melody on the second string and uses strings 1 & 3 for drones, on some songs it sounds cool, and on others, well not so cool.
