the first montecristo was a cigar box , searched high and low to try and find another one , well i did find one , but still full of Cigars and it was $598 plus shipping plus import tax = way too much
so i made one , must say that when the box was made and before i cut it open to make the box & lid it sounded superb when you tapped it - infact it sounded that good i'm gonna make another one but just have it acoustic no piezo, mag pickup or any electrics at all - the Cedar and birch seem to work very well .

now you got it going on, this will be one fine guitar when finished. great work ju ju. it will be as good or better than the first one you built with a box like this. on the first did you make the box too or was it a cigar box,when you built a guitar with it?
