5-stringer made a good while back from a wine stewards kit and a 1x3 oak plank. I used cut up large paper clips for frets, carriage bolt nut, eye bolt bridge, piezo pickup. The front of the box was decorated with cigar band labels (not very visible in the photo). I wish I had another box like this...it would make a great resonator.
