found an old quarts clock. checked its output for the sake of it. near 20 k ohms. so... gonna havta try it out. ya never know. could try a lace pup idea.

yup . its been tested again with mag's in place at a modest 16 k ohm. and is at present 3 mag's up and being loaded into a dulcimer. will put up pics and vid asap
so it may yet work then!? heh. luckily this ones got great contacts. so as long as im careful all good. ive been looking up those lace pups that have this type of rate coil/. damned interesting stuff. if i get this to work ill try to build something like them. love tinkering. does this fit?/work/ is it gonna blow up kinda thang lol. love it.

i tried this once .. but shelfed it , cause the contact wires and parts were too tiny / fragile .
i think i killed it with solder too . lol
