    Chuck, I did not make this carvings. The box is manufactured in 1955 by unknown artist

    no resonator inside. It just a sound hole with volume knob but the holes are protected from inside with transparent film to avoid feedback

    Really cool! A lot of unique ideas on this project. Is that a resonator where the volume knob is, or just a sound hole?
