Puerto Rican Mesquite neck mated to a Romeo y Julieta Box. Finish was stripped from box and after sanding a light walnut stain was applied to the neck and box. Linseed Oil was next and the guitar will be finished with special wiping varnish. Two peizos will be mounted one near the neck the other under the bridge.

Cool...this time I painted the fret markers black when in the past I have used stain. I have some Argentinean Mesquite also but I have yet to use Texas Mesquite and I live in Texas. People dont tend to realize what a great tone wood Mesquite is.
