Melophonic Faux Reso rebuild finished

Today the strings went on. She sounds great. The neck reset seems good. She's ready for 50 more years...

    Still a favorite of mine too Pick. It sits next to me on the couch or behind me at my desktop. It's loud! for a faux reso that is.

    I'll be keeping her for a while to enjoy the sound. I'm always attatched to the new builds. Once i've had them for a while, then i decide which must go to make room for others. I spent some real time rebuilding this old gal. Time to enjoy her for a while.

    Thanks Pick. I'm enjoying the reso reconstructions. I've been playing this one a lot since the strings went on. It has a funky rattly tone with a little citar in it. The faux cover plate seems to make the sound.

    Hey Delvero, there's a Harmony Faux Reso on ebay right now. Two of them actually. Both nice projects. Extensive rebuilding, but They come back from the grave and sing sweetly again....
