Here is where I am at today: Completed the sound box frame, cut one sound board, finished the fingerboard assembly, started fooling around with the headstock. Thinking of buying another kind of ply veneer, hopefully in cherry to match the side walls better. Still have to figure out how best to attach the headstock. Will likely use a couple of dowels and glue the headstock to the end of the fingerboard, and provide additional support wood below. Still have to work out the details.
