mango chugger 2

Recycled ceiling tin TB2'd and screwed onto CB top.Old old coins covering screws, Old DeArmond "Bug" pickup. An interesting red over gold lipstick case bridge that was converted into a cigarette lighter (this was a common mod in the 30s-50's. Unfortunately the flaw in the mod is that they leak. Maybe a rubber gasket? I like the idea of being able to pop off the bridge and having the option to light a cigarette or whatever and then put it back in place. Its a little high but it is a chugger. No buzzing or rolling yet but as I said I haven't really hammered on this yet. Also there's a pickle-fork tailpiece. I don't know if I have any forks left in the house. I actually used on of these to eat a salad- full size curled and used my hands about halfway through. Love this tailpiece alternatives. Anything to get to play with my propane torch!

  • Great idea on the old ceiling tile.  Neat tuff.  Yup, the fork is cool. Scrap metal you can cut makes nice tail pieces.
