Mandolin

The Mandolin odyssey is over...I may have created an untunable monster! The antique box has a lot of flex to it and I will need to beef up the interior reinforcement. Fortunately I can access it as the lid is on the back side. It's going to take a lot of tweeks.

    I will keep plugging away at it. I will need to do more research on internal bracing. Thanks for the 2 finger cord suggestion, I'll check it out.

    Hey, if you do not succeed with the 8 string, maybe take it down to four.  I have a pretty good 4 string mando built by Jim Morris.
