I wanted to try a Chris Lyons Nighthawk type build but as usual for me, I made it more complicated than it has to be! Neck made from 1/2 solid eucalyptus flooring. It looks laminated but is not. It is the hardest wood I have worked with yet.Also with it being prefinished, it presents some unique build challenges. It is only 1/2" thick but I have no doubt it will hold the string tension w/o warping. 24" scale, tuned Gdg, Piezo pickup. Prefinished neck face and Danish oil on the rest of neck.Tabak box body.Belt strap, geared tuners, zero fret.
