Very cool. And that sounds familiar. If you told me that on a previous piece, please forgive my poor memory.
The tailpiece is a 3D printed plastic piece I designed. It holds a piezo pick up under a brass rod that leads to a strap button jack. The strings actually run through a simple aluminum "L" that is screwed to the body under the tailpiece.
