Little Red - Diddley Bros 2015

It had a Red Grandis Hardwood neck (supposedly the wood of the future). The original headstock was Red gandis too. But it split horrifically when drilling holes for machine heads. In half a fit of rage I though i's cut a scarf joint for a new headstock as I'd already profiled the neck. Rage blinded me and I cut the scarf the wrong way round, so I had to do it again the right way. Took It down to a 21" scale length. The new headstock is poplar. That took a long time to sort out the mess I'd made. Had to use dowel in the scarf joint in the end to get it right. I know it's cheating a bit. But that joint is strong as hell now.
