Not really cigar box guitar related. A friend stopped by yesterday with this little "junior" guitar. It was in pretty rough shape. I paid 5 bucks for it and was going to strip some parts off it. Then started looking it over and decided to fix it. I had to make a new nut for it and repair the bridge. I put three strings on it and tuned it to an open E. I left a gap between the top string and the other 2. I was amazed with it. It has nice sound no fret work was required. It is a blast to play. I think I will keep it just for the novelty of it.

Nice Rescue Ron, and to my way of thinking, the fact that you've only put 3 Strings on it, puts it into the Cigar Box Genre of Builds, just saying !! :-)
