leveling frets

The old guy at that shop generally seems to think that cbgs have to be rough and play like toys. Don't get me wrong, the guy has been repairing guitars for 30 years, but I'm going to give him the lowest, smoothest action I can manage, and hopefully drag him into appreciating the revolution. He said a humbucker wasn't worth the trouble because "It's just a cigar box guitar" I found some brass corners today and man, this thing is going to be my best by far.

  •  It's done. I can't put it down (:   first fret holds a dime and the twelfth is about a dime and a quarter. And the intonation is almost perfect.   I love building.
