The answer was simple. These colors dont run. LOL I dont know what he told you but maybe look it up again what i read was standard for any flag. There is probably a lot you dont know about southern history.
I get it...I really do! It's actually a beautiful flag and I fully understand why so many people fly it. I used to wear one as a headband and one day a guy who I really respect for his courage asked me what my "colours" meant. Didn't have an answer at all so did some learnin' about it from his perspective. I honestly didn't want to start a polemic Don. It's a great git (as all of your gits are) and I'll bet it sounds as good as it looks. Hope that's ok, prolly should have kept my thoughts to myself but my ADHD doesn't always allow that to happen :-/
Don, you've done a beaut job on this. Wonderful looking guitar. The confed flag is ( at a personal level only) troublesome. Please no one start a political discussion!!!!!!
