Shaped headstock is veneered with cigar divider sheet, 4 tulip tuners give option of 3 or 4 strings. Nut and bridge slotted for either.

Not my idea though Im afraid - Iv seen it somewhere else before, and the headstock looked just wrong with the 3 tuners, so it was the obvious answer!

What a great idea the best of both worlds,3 or 4 string never woulda thunk it???? and is a beautiful build.
