  • I use the DGBD as a dobro tuning. This goes back to art school days in the 1960s for me. I,ve used it more than any other open tuning. Now I like C6th tuning too. CEGACE. From low to hi. It works as a 4 string tuning too. GACE.
  • Thanks, Dave.  I had to redo the biscuit and then I restrung and tuned it GDGB.  I think it was better as it was before = DGBE and DGBD.

  • Very nice Uncle. Love the old rehabs.

  • It has some life left in it, Wes.

  • Bruce, it sounds surprisingly boomy.   I wanted a good seal on that bowl and the lip was kind of small to use screws.  I siliconed it in.

  • Very cool conversion!

  • Gary, Billy signed it, but was right where the catbowl is.

126, it sounds better than I would have ever guessed.  Not so much metalic, but boomy.

    Wes, that is felineous assault.

  • Nice job Unc, how's it sound?
  • I thought I saw Billy Gibbons playing it in concert once.

  • Buddy could be a maybe.....  He was in Iowa.   ;)
