La Riqueza

La Riqueza 23 1/2" scale, fretted, oak neck, poplar fretboard and heel, piezo disc in the oak bridge. I built it with high action and slide in mind. • Thanks John! I make all my headstocks between 7/16' to 11/16" depending which side of the bed I wake up on that morning;-) As long as it's hardwood there's plenty of meat there, that's jsut my Maddogish way I guess. I do try my best to make every build I do a little different when I can, kind of they're own personality. I had to use the wife's craft chair for a prop as it was the only thing dry that was close.

  • Yup.  I like Maddog style gits and pics.   Action looks just right for fretting or sliding both.  To me, the headstock looks a bit slim.   Looks like a player.
