  • Thanks Bruce!

  • You had me at "hand hammered bean can reso" , yet there is so much more to enjoy! May have outdone yourself!!

  • I'm going to try some of the hammered can spray paint on one and see what happens. Also might try some chalk paint to give it a satin appearance. Maybe even some old magazine or newspaper with some Mod Podge layers.

  • Dave, that is an interesting idea to relic one of these bass pups.  One simple way would be to glue up something thin on the top.  Old news paper.  Heck, Dave.  You could do a small drawing.

  • Thanks for the pickup opinion Uncle. I'll try one of those pups. They look plasticy to me so I passed them by. Do to relic it somehow?
  • Thanks John!  I like the sound of the mags too.

  • PS:  I think these bass mag pups are great and the best to my ear following whatever Pick uses on his swampies.

  • Ha Patrick, I am working on a build with that same bass mag pup.  Yours if prettier than mine, but I hope to get more relic effect.  Nice neck and sound holes.
