Kodakanjo/Kodakaster 4-string film canjoRecycled 1000-ft film can. Hard maple neck with maple peg head and walnut stripes. Walnut fret board with maple dots, walnut heel. Piezo disc glued to neck inside can. 24" fret scale. Tuned D-G-B-D.

    Haha... I have just bought two 35mm 1000' cans! I saw one and immediately thought 'canjo/reso'.

    Does it have as have as much 'clang' as you were hoping for?

    Looks really nice S.D.! I bet it is a blast to plink on, I think the bridge looks good. I can imagine it resonates like a dream.

    Thanks. This is my first whack at a canjo, but it turned out pretty well. I'm thinking of doing something else with the bridge -I was only gonna use this banjo bridge from Gitty temporarily- but this thing is so much fun to play, I just can't put it down long enough to swap it out.
