This sounded good to my hard of hearing ears, Seth. I am sure that was due in part to the old rocker who ran the sound and later got up to the mic and rocked on his own and with a good harp player.
I spent some time a while back working in recording studios, and while everyone else wanted all the fancy name stuff, I got more and more obsessed with the "less desirable" options. They just sound good. Anyway, way off topic... If someone wants to geek out on vintage recording gear some time, shoot me a message.
