My first commissioned instrument! Built for G.W. of High Pilot. Body is a small painter's box, oak neck and fretboard, 25.5" scale, 19 frets, MGB Box Bucker pickup and Stroh's beer cap knobs. Body and headstock are hydro dipped graphics with a green glow-in-the-dark base coat and the fret markers also glow. Should look pretty sweet on stage, under a blacklight.Interesting story about this plate. Some years ago G.W.'s wife went to a garage sale and out of the blue the guy running it (apparently a psychic) told her "you're going to want to buy that license plate". She immediately bought it for her hubby... G.W. was born in 1963 and graduated in 1981. Creepy eh?
