  • dude what a great looking correction to a problem,it really does look like you meant fer it to be that way, great save.sometimes we accidently happen upon cool looking designs by going oh oh what i,m i gonna do now,and that is when we find out what we are made of. that design looks cool with the two rails on top of the lid.
  • I thought you had been reading one of my articles! Never mind i I think it is impressive. Well done.

PS I suppose we all enjoy other peoples stuff ups in some way, but don't tell us when you make such a good cover up job!
  • Thanks all around folks, I have other photos on my harddrive I'll dig out and show inside this box. This was the first fret job i did and didnt want to waste the neck. The two wooden strips across top are also supporting the
neck from bowing, I got all this really nice wood from a cheapo Ikea dish drying rack. lots of good tight grain and various sizes.
  • Who cares about the f%$# up - that looks amazing! Maybe the f*&k up helped?! Nice slotted head, too. I'm doing one on Monday, was glad to see yours. Nice holes, too. Man, just nice all around!
  • Yeah man. It looks great! Brand new idea
  • You shouldn't advertise the mistake it looks pretty neat nobody would even notice!
