These are my first two attempts building a CBG. The first one, that my wife if rocking is acoustic/electric 4 string with a Radio Shack piezo element for the pickup. I made everything from scratch. I fretted my neck and did a scarf cut for the head stock. It is surprisingly loud when played acoustically. The second one, that I am playing is made from old guitar parts that my friends donated after seeing the first CBG. It has a vintage Musicman bridge, vintage Vantage maple fretboard/neck, single coil pickup from an old Carvin, volume and tone controls from a vintage Strat. Both were really fun to build. The acoustic is so much fun and the electric one rocks!
