I went with flat wounds as an experiment, and really like them. They are for electrics (nice JuJu pup, there), and fairly heavy gauge, and do well to eliminate scraping noise both with the slide and fingering notes. Kinda pricey, but they hold tune very well (with nice tuning pegs), and should last much longer sounding good than regular wound (no grooves to build up gunk).
