Jesse James Home & CBG's

A couple of my new builds in front of Jesse James' Home in Saint Joseph Missouri. This is the house Jesse lived in when Robert Ford shot him on April 3, 1882. The actual bullet hole is still in the wall in the livng room of the home, Ford shot Jesse in the back of the head while Jesse was dusting a picture on the wall. The house is filled with belongings of the James family. Quite interesting.

  • Thanks Jason!

  • Great shot MD

  • Downloaded the words and tabs, got a print out. The git part doesn't look to difficult, long song though word wise.

  • Glad ya like John! I would be game (when it wams up as I am not as tough as Belinda) to a possible Jesse vid there. I have always been interested in the life of the James boys. They apperently frequented our are quite often, from what I'm told they spent the night hear in Blair in an old warehouse that still stands today on thier way through north.

He was going to rob one last bank with the Ford boys in an effort to buy a farm here in Nebraska to setlle down and fly straight until Bob Ford changed all that.

No BBQ, went to Saint Joseph to pick up a late 1960's Kustom Tuck and Roll 2-15 speaker cab with a Kustom 200 head. Did some antique shopping/buying also, got some nice yardsticks :-)

  • Cool.    I've been there and in the house too.  One of us cbg folk should make a video there of the song, 'Jesse James.'     Jessie and company derailed and robbed a train 50 miles from where I live.  And may have camped in nearby Cuppy's grove where there was a cave of some sort and horse thieves.

Maddog, did you have any BBQ while  down there?

  • I heard that same thing Vin ;-)

Thanks Pick, it really is quite interesting. The inside is set up just like it was in 1882, including the actual bullet hole in the wall after it went through Jesse's head.

  • cool.

  • I think your probably right Clock :-)

  • I bet Jesse played a cbg!
