I finally finished the Jazzbo. It sounds great acoustically and electrified. Now to learn some jazz riffs.

  • Top quality! I'm toying with a similar idea based on the semi acoustic guitar made by Bo Diddley (which I think he gave to NY Hard Rock Cafe). Not as clean as this though...

  • Thanks, The box (sides, back, bracing and sound board) I made from western red cedar I bought at the hardware store. I had to look through a stack of dog eared fence boards to find some I could use. It has two 1/4" carbon fiber compression tubes running from the neck heel to the steel end plate. These are needed to keep the end s ridged. I made the neck from mahogany with two CF flat bars for stiffening. I was able to re-cycle the fret board and nut from another guitar build.
