  • Thanks guys! The radio did work until I hacked it into an guitar amp. I could have kept the radio functionality if I added a switch but I didn't think it was worth the bother. I mean who listens to AM radio nowadays? Besides Uncle John that is.  :D

    Truetone was sold by a chain hardware store called Western Auto.  My first big kid bicycle had a Western Auto logo badge.
