  Thanks, Neil.  I have a drill mounted hole cutter and metal rings to fit the holes.  Will gve it some thought...

  PS I have since gotten a tool which cuts a neat 1" hole in a tin as clean as a whistle. I used it on a tin I had made into a canjo and it was stunning the difference it made

  Not bad but would have been better with a hole I think. I put in a piezo and a preamp and it was good with that but acoustically it was a bit quiet

  That looks good Neil.  How does it sound without a sound hole.  I am working on a Jack tin guitar.
