    Any clues???

    Key in place.
  • My best bet is that it's european? it doesn't look like any american made lap steels -Valco(supro/McKinney/National/Oahu,Etc.) All american lap steels have big rounded sides on them, and those knobs are not original since they are radio knobs,all Valco knobs are flat w/ ridges on the sides.did U buy it from the states?

  • its got the supro knobs like mine ,ive got an old reagle one ive got to digout too .

    got the bits to build me a walnut lap steel....just haven't quite got to it yet

  • I will have it apart and have a nosey around
    Sounds a bit like that other one...
    Think I used it on steam hammer blues?
  • have U looked underneath the pickup? sometimes manufacturers stamp the company name/date on the bottom. definitely a student model,knobs are 40's-ish radio knobs,no markings in the control cavity?

  • Lap Steel.?..sheesh...i'm still just gettin' the hang of my Hill Harp! (-;
