Thin cigar box had a very warped lid. But, the plate fit perfect for a top. My vintage plate is a 1940 Missouri, my birthplace. (1944 is my birth year). This plate is close enough. We’re both rusty.

Nice rusty patina. Good luck finding a cigar box the fits the plate. Nice job on that neck and reinforcing.
