Rough shaped body for a walking-stick style bass (upright). Dad wanted a Kona Bob walking stick bass (from Hawaii), but they cost over 500 bucks...sheesh.This is rock maple, and to reduce weight I chambered out the back of the "body" with a forstner bit.Will be a 34" scale, 3 strings...not sure if I'm going with whipper snipper line (weed whacker to those of you in the States), acoustic bass strings, or nylon tape wound strings.Will have dual piezos under the bridge, and I may do some hand wound single pole single magnet pups (individual for each string and staggered) for multiple tone variations.
