How did you make those tuner knobs? I've been thinking of doing a Chinese style CBG with pentaonic scale, raised frets and the big long handled friction tuners. But, I dislike friction tuners, maybe I can find away to disguise geared tuners as friction tuners by adding big long knobs? Any thought?

I just used the economy tuners from CB Gitty, dremeled off the plastic knobs. epoxied in wooden craft balls. Seems like long knobs would work too..
Acoustically I think the box is a bit small. amplified she sounds good to me. I just have to learn to play :-)
