Actually, it was a measurement mistake. I fretted the neck for a 23" scale and should have cut more of the neck off before I glued it up. Done that a couple times. I tend to get in a hurry when I get close to finishing a build and need to slow down and think about it. It doesn't seem to give me any more volume.
