Altered my standard bolt on neck style CBG to accommodate a 1" PVC pipe neck. Surprising loud, not sure if it is just the box because I have never used one of these before or if the hollow neck adds some extra volume. The neck is on the chunky side but is smooth and comfortable. A fun experiment!

Thanks BrianQ! I cut lengths of both 1" and 3/4" PVC schedule 40 pipe. Because I could flex the 3/4" with my hands, I went with the 1". Schedule 80 would stiffen up the 3/4" pipe, but I wanted to work with what I had on hand. I might try the 3/4" at some point.
Kool, I've used 1" & 3/4" pvc for necks on Diddley Bo's, they do change the volume & resonance some.
