Lego Guitar

  • It's always fun to try something different as both of you, Kale and Glenn, know all to well! If it looks slapped together that's because it is. Had barely enough Legos to get to a reasonable level of completion. It was a fun build...

  • SO cool Doug! Love this! -Glenn

  • Well that's different. I've always loved Legos so... why not have a lego instrument.

  • That is a great question BrianQ! I don't know, but I wish I had more!!! It took every 2x4 piece I had and a few I 3D printed (they don't work as well). The parts got smaller as I continued to build and I filled it out with pretty much all the plates I had on the top. I was making it up as I went after I got in the structure down the middle to support the string tension.

Got my order of Lego clone blocks (including 2x10s) from AilExpress; so I can continue my experiments. Should have ordered some plates too (limited vision and experience).

Thanks for all the encouraging words!

  • Just wondering how many pieces were used?
