  • That's exactly what I did. I use a flat and curved side hand rasp and then by touch and feel. The headstock I simply use a hand saw, cut several slots, pop them with a flat head screwdriver and then rasp and sand. Some day I will afford actual machinery but for now it is what it is. You can say I put a bit more heart and soul into my creations....LOL

  • More advanced builder's like to use a router, or a band saw for shaping. I myself use a hand held wood rasp, and a hand file.
