I didn't try yet as slide. Bur I know a builder who gives copper slides whith his guitars... good fotr begin, maybe
I have not liked copper slides in the past, but being a cheap-ass, I have been thinking about buying some copper tubing to use for give-away slides.
Copper tube, cut and flattened! Nice for making lot of things. I try to buy only tuning keys (not always) strings, and when nedded, electrics...
Kind of good to see someone else cutting out tail pieces from scrap metal. Easy, free, repurposed and good.
