  • Nice looking axes. There's something to be said about cohiba boxes. I too like to build them with the lid on the back. A 100.00 is a good price for an acoustic, this way if they want to make it electric, you can easily add a piezo and jack and charge an extra 20-30 dollars ( or whatever). Nice work!
  • They sound nice. The one in the middle has the the slots cut. on the right is fretted

  • 100.00 bucks is a great price. Don't forget to estimate your labor cost man.

I know they are a labor of love but hey time is money. LOL

Are they fretted or just mark where frets should go?

What i did at first was to have a base price non fretted, no pick up.

then add fretting as an option and piezo pickup as another add on.

I don't advertise usually word of mouth.

i have made a lot of early ones i gave as gifts to musician friends of mine as i honed the craft.

Each time i build it seems i learn a bit more.

Your work looks Great from the pics  how do they sound?

  • thanks j rob. I'm going to sell the two on the right. hum bucker ones is mine. There both acoustic only. I was thinking 100 dollars plus shipping.

  • Nice builds!

For fretted three stringer Piezo pickup i get $180-$200 respectively.

I do mention it is a one of a kind piece as a selling point.

Figured a cheap squire you can get for that but hey that is a mass produced guitar not a one of a kin!

Good luck selling Nicholas :)  keep building quality stuff

  • I'm on the Cohiba band wagon. I build them lid on back. I am bummed they started using ply bottoms, old box values have gone up it you ask me. real nice man.

  • Very nice builds.  And with proper Cohiba boxes.  They sound good.

  • NICE x 3!
