I'll take some pics of the inside and upload soon. The aluminum bar extends the full length of the neck and stops at the end of the fretboard near the pickup.

I had a "hankerin" for an "f" style mandolin but ad limited $ so I decided to make one. Again my architectural education drove me to design something a lot more complex than it needed to be but it did give me an opportunity to "re-interpret" the traditional "f" style design and take artistic liberties. Of course my limited power tool resources have considerable influence on the end design. Thanks for the compliment.
