This is the top of a guitar I made for and donated to a favorite charity for their "Poker & Pumpkins" October fundraiser. It raised A LOT for some local families and was high-bid-won by a guitarist who'd never seen ad hoc guitars

It's called the Family Resource Center. They support working families whose incomes aren't always enough. Every year they hold an October fundraiser and silent auction in a Pumpkin theme. Every year the local artists, myself included, create and donate a pumpkin-themed piece. I wanted to create a guitar this year for their event and came up with this kooky idea. Surprisingly, it was the "hot" item to bid upon and finally fetched 1300 dollars for the FRC!
