17" scale, GCea, poplar body, maple neck. I bought a piece of scrap poplar to learn how to make holes with a drill press and how to make pretty edges with a router, never having used either tool before.

    That's the best looking steel string uke that I have ever seen.  I love the finish and the pick guard. .What string gauges did you use? Low G?
