First build, started and completed last week of February 2015. Have been building banjos for a couple of years when C.B.Gs caught my eye on the Internet. I'm addicted now, and joining the revolution. You people make some cool instruments.

I did think about making the tool box into an instrument but thought I might trap my fingers in the drawers. I'll have you know that was my attempt to do an artistic photo.................Ok I'll stick to the day job.
Hi Bruce the fiddle guitar you are referring to was actually made by Tom T but I wish it was mine. I have only just completed my second build which is a Canjo.
By the way Sparky, I really like the way you used that old fiddle to make a new instrument. My wife plays fiddle, and I know those things are built to make sound. I'll bet it sounds real nice- a lot of resonance I'm sure.
Pretty head stock. Nice lookin' fretboard. Welcome. One thing that seems true to me is that it is best to have about 2 inches or more between nut and nearest tuner to help keep the strings in their slots. Looks like good planning here for string line up.

Well, that's a nice looking canjo. That's it in front of the red toolbox, right?

Thank you, Sparky.
Ahh, that good angle counts for a lot.
Thanks Uncle John,
I got about a 15 degree angle on that peg head.
