  • Thanks, I kind of guessed it was a reproduction.   Agreed on the lessons.  :)

  • I just got the sign off of Amazon. I used two signs...one for the back and one for the front.  I work in ag so I wanted something for my office.  Dekalb signs are so rustic with such a great history, I though it was the best fit for a CBG.  I didn't realize I had strung it up wrong until after I took the picture.  I ended up restringing it.  I think this was my 3rd or 4th project so I'm still trying to figure things out.  It's amazing with these things how there's a new lesson to be learned every time.

  • Yup.   I always like the look of DeKalb's flying corn cob.   The reddish and green neck works perfect here.   I had to click on your name to see where you live.  (Iowa here).

Great looking git.   2 things:  Where did you get the DeKalb sign?   And for that bass string, there's nothing wrong with taking the straighter shot and wrapping the string from the 'wrong side.'

  • This one cool git!
